Toy/figure company MegaHouse has announced several new Gundam items during their “Mega Hobby +Plus 2022 Winter” online event.
GGG Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam Paptimus Scirocco
Paptimus Scirocco is one of the main antagonists depicted in the 1985 Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam series, directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino. Known as “The Man from Jupiter” hailing from the Earth Federation’s Jupiter Fleet, Scirocco quickly rises through the ranks of the Earth Federation’s elite autonomous counter-insurgency group “Titans”. He’s charismatic with the particular ability to charm or manipulate women to join his side. Scirocco piloted the PMX-000 Messala, then the PMX-003 The-O.
The Gundam Guys Generation Paptimus Scirocco presently is listed without a price or release date.
GGG Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam Emma Sheen
Emma Sheen is one of the protagonists in the Zeta Gundam series, originally depicted as a beautiful, kind-hearted young Lieutenant for the Titans. Becoming increasingly disillusioned with the Titans’s corrupt behavior, she defects to the Anti-Earth Union Group(AEUG), who opposes the Titans and their tyranny. She famously piloted one of the stolen RX-178 Gundam Mk-II and the upgraded RX-178+FXA-05D Super Gundam.
The Gundam Girls Generation Emma Sheen presently is listed without a price or release date.
Airing from 1985 to 1986, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam is set in UC 0087 taking place eight years after the original Mobile Suit Gundam. The series shifts focus to Kamille Bidan, a civilian with a deep hatred for the Titans, the tyrannical autonomous counter-insurgency force of the Earth Federation. Drama ensues as Kamille joins the Anti-Earth Union Group(AEUG), the resistance organization combatting the Titans.
B-STYLE: Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Meer Campbell Bunny ver.
Meer Campbell is one of the major characters from the 2004 Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny series. Meer is depicted as a doppelgänger for Lacus Clyne, established by PLANT chairman Gilbert Durandal to use Lacus’s influence and charisma.
The B-style Meer Campbell Bunny ver. figure will be an unique spin on the character, with her dressed in a bunny-girl outfit, similar to the B-style: Mobile Suit Gundam SEED – Lacus Clyne Bunny Ver, released previously. The figure is listed without a price or release date.
Directed by Mitsuo Fukuda and scripted by Chiaki Morosawa, SEED Destiny is the sequel to the popular 2002 Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series.
The year is Cosmic Era 73. The Bloody Valentine War, fought between the PLANTS space colonies and the nations of the Atlantic Federation, has ended and an uneasy truce has settled upon the Earth sphere. With the signing of the Junius Seven Treaty, the world’s soldiers have left the battlefield and the grizzly sights of war behind. Many who fought now seek peace and refuge in the shelter of civilian life.
But one boy, Shinn Asuka, is finding that incredibly hard. A coordinator who lost his entire family during the Battle of Orb, he now fights with ZAFT in one of their newest machines, the Impulse Gundam. Of course, ZAFT is only developing these machines for defensive applications – or so they claim – but when a group of Federation operatives steal some of these prototype machines, the world is once again plunged towards war.
