Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 is celebrating its 6th anniversary with a range of special events and updates, running from July 24 to August 21, 2024.
Highlighting the anniversary is the introduction of the RX-105 Xi Gundam from the Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash anime film. Players can now pilot this formidable Mobile Suit in battles, adding a fresh layer of excitement to the game. Additionally, new missions have been added to the Battle Simulator, providing players with more challenges and opportunities to earn rewards.
Originally designed by mechanical designer Yasuhiro Moriki for the Hathaway’s Flash novel series, the RX-105 Xi Gundam was developed by Anaheim Electronics containing a Minovsky craft system giving it advanced flight capabilities to maneuver freely under gravity. Xi Gundam is piloted by protagonist Hathaway Noa aka Mafty Navue Erin in the Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash film trilogy. The mobile suit was redesigned by Hajime Katoki for the anime film adaptation.
In addition for its 6th anniversary, Battle Operation 2 introduces special Supply Drops featuring all previously available Mobile Suits and armaments. Players can enjoy weekly 10 free drops, with guaranteed ★★ or above MS, and ★★★ or above MS, up to a total of 40 drops, 8 ★★ or above MS, and 4 ★★★ or above MS. During the GBO Days event, this doubles, offering a maximum of 80 drops, 16 ★★ or above MS, and 8 ★★★ or above MS.
The 6th anniversary campaign will also feature discounts on DP Exchange and Recycle Counter items, along with special token packs, provide great value. Daily login rewards and a special login bonus campaign offer additional incentives. Community events and contests are also being held to engage players and enhance the experience. Launching in 2018, Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 is the third installment in the Gundam: Battle Operation game series, following Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation and Gundam: Battle Operation NEXT.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 is a free-to-play battle action game featuring over 300 mobile suits where players can enjoy realistic mecha combat on the battlefield.
