Official Gundam fashion brand STRICT-G is working together once again with military fashion company and frequent collaborator Alpha Industries to release a new Gundam-style military jacket. Using the Alpha Industries N2B model, this collaboration inspires a bomber jacket based on protagonist Heero Yuy and his iconic XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero from the popular 1997 New Mobile Report Gundam Wing OVA/film.
The STRICT-G ALPHA N2B New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz Heero Yuy Model is priced at 55,000 yen, releasing November 3, 2023 to STRICT-G stores in Japan, with Premium Bandai pre-orders shipping later in November. All customers who purchase the jacket will receive an acrylic stand with an original illustration of Heero.
Releasing from January 1997 to July 1997, New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz was directed by Yasunao Aoki and scripted by Katsuyuki Sumisawa as a three episode OVA, serving as a sequel to the 1995 New Mobile Report Gundam Wing TV anime. Internationally dubbed Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. The OVA featured character designs by Shukou Murase with mechanical designs by Hajime Katoki, Kunio Okawara and Junya Ishigaki. Kou Otani and music duo TWO-MIX returned for music composition and theme song performance, respectively. In August 1998, a film compilation of the OVA was released.
Story
After Colony 196. Tranquility has spread through the Earth Sphere and the colonies are at peace. The Gundam pilots find themselves attempting to rebuild their lives in this new era.
