Iron-Blooded Orphans MSV Introduces Falk Family Gundam Frame, Gundam Gamigin



Sunrise(now Bandai Namco Filmworks) launched Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans MSV December of last year as a project to compile the variety of mobile suits announced in media other than the anime TV series and the gaiden Iron-Blooded Orphans: Gekko. Designed by Kanetake Ebikawa, Sigrún, a new Valkyrja Frame mobile suit appearing in Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans G, was the first entry in the new MSV series. 

The second entry in the MSV is the ASW-G-04 Gundam Gamigin. Designed by prolific Gundam mechanical designer Ippei Gyoubu, the Gundam Gamigin is a Gundam Frame mobile suit owned by the Falk family, one of Gjrallarhorn’s Seven Stars. During the Calamity War, which ended about 300 years ago, Kalf Falk, the first head of the Falk family, piloted this mobile suit and shot down numerous enemies. Currently, the Falk family continues to maintain strict control and custody of the property. Gamigin’s main armament is the Revolver Gun Axe, a small zero range Dáinsleif is built into the revolver head. It also uses as a 110mm six-barrel Gatling Gun mounted on a subarm.

Bandai Namco Entertainment recently launched the long-gestating Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G, a new smartphone app where fans can experience the world of Iron-Blooded Orphans through anime and game play. The app allows fans to play through the main Iron-Blooded TV series, and new content such as the spin off Urdr-Hunt and Side Stories. The app is available in the App Store and Google Play, currently without an international release.
