Sunrise(Bandai Namco Filmworks) has announced in a press release Bandai Namco‘s “Gundam Pavilion” for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan will be partnering with the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion. Together, the pavilions will work towards achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In 2022, Bandai Namco Group announced it was an exhibitor for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and planned to use Mobile Suit Gundam as its theme. Tentatively titled “GUNDAM PAVILION ANOTHER GUNDAM WORLD,” the exhibit envisions the possibilities of the future shown through Mobile Suit Gundam, set in “Another Universal Century”.
Osaka Prefecture will exhibit the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion’s “Nest for Reborn,” embodying the concepts of “people can be reborn” and “taking a new step forward”.
Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan is being held from April 13 to October 13, 2025.
At the “1st Gundam Conference”, held June 2021, the Bandai Namco Group launched GUNDAM UNIVERSAL CENTURY DEVELOPMENT ACTION (GUDA), a cross-group sustainability project using the Gundam IP to solicit new ideas and technologies to deal with various social issues.
