Hiroko Moriguchi Custom Gunpla to be Released by Poll

Hiroko Moriguchi, known as the “Gundam Goddess,” has performed many songs for the Gundam series, such as the opening theme song to the 1985 Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam series, “Mizu no Hoshi e Ai wo Komete”(“From the Aqueous Star with Love”) and the theme song to the 1991 film Mobile Suit Gundam F91,”Eternal Wind ~Hohoemi wa Hikaru Kaze no Naka~”.

The songstress will be collaborating with anime studio Sunrise and the Bandai Namco hobby subsidiary Bandai Spirits to release one of three possible Gundam models that Moriguchi herself color-coordinated. The model kit will be chosen via poll, voting ends October 17, 2021 at 23:59 JST. The release date, sales method, package contents, and price will be announced at a later date.

The selected plastic models are High Grade Universal Century versions of the lead Gundam type mobile suits which appeared in the works with Moriguchi’s theme song performance, each labeled [Ver. HIROKO MORIGUCHI].
