Gundam: The 08th MS Team Officially Streaming for Free on YouTube



Gundam Info, the official international Gundam YouTube channel, is now streaming the Mobile Suit Gundam:The 08th MS Team, apart of their monthly streaming lineup. The series is streaming with Japanese audio and English, Korean and Chinese(Taiwan, Hong Kong, Simplified) subtitle options.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team released from 1996 to 1999 as an original video animation(OVA). The series was directed by Takeyuki Kanda, followed by Umanosuke Iida, with character designs by Bones Inc. co-founder Toshihiro Kawamoto, and a mechanical design team consisting of Kunio Okawara, Hajime Katoki, and Kimitoshi Yamane.

The 08th MS Team inspired a compilation film in 1998 titled Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team- Miller’s Report, as well as a new anime short in 2013 titled, Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team- Battle in Three Dimensions.

Story

The year is Universal Century 0079. The Federation has begun mass production of prototype Gundams for use by its ground forces. Shiro Amada, commander of the 08th MS Team, must lead his soldiers through fierce fighting on the ground. However, the Zeons are developing a secret project which could tip the balance of power! Can Shiro and his ragtag team of castoffs, rejects, and bad attitudes save the Federation?
