Mobile Suit Moon Gundam began serialization August 2017 in Gundam Ace, published by Kadokawa. The manga is penned by Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn and Narrative‘s Harutoshi Fukui, with art by Takayuki Kosai and mechanical design by Ippei Gyoubu. Set in U.C.0092, within the forgotten colony of Moon Moon, originally depicted in the 1986 Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ series, this ambitious work covers an untouched gap of the Universal Century between Gundam ZZ and Mobile Suit Gundam Char’s Counterattack. The story follows Moon Moon Light Tribe member Jutta and the hostilities between the Earth Federation’s Londo Bell and Neo Zeon arriving at the doors of the Moon Moon colony.
The manga is currently on its eighth volume with volume nine releasing in March.
U.C. ENGAGE was announced November 2021 as a war simulation game that allows users to play through all of Gundam‘s Universal Century works old and new, combining animation with game play. The game is free to play with in-app purchases that launched in 2021 on the App Store and Google Play. Presently the game is exclusive to Japan.
