Metal ROBOT SPIRITS Re-GZ Custom Diecast Figure Releasing in May

RGZ-91B Re-GZ Custom joins Tamashii Nations’s METAL ROBOT SPIRITS line of high end mecha action figures featuring diecast metal parts and joints.

Designed by Mika Akitaka, the Re-GZ Custom is an upgraded version of the RGZ-91 Re-GZ. The mobile suit was featured in the Char’s Counterattack Mobile Suit Variations(CCA-MSV) design series that accompanied the 1988 Yoshiyuki Tomino-directed Mobile Suit Gundam Char’s Counterattack film.

The 140mm figure was modeled under the supervision of the mobile suit’s mechanical designer Mika Akitaka. Diecast is used to achieve both refined proportions and built-in transformation gimmicks.
