Destiny Gundam Spec II METAL ROBOT Spirits Figure Releasing in July

Destiny Gundam Spec II from the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom film joins Tamashii Nations’s METAL ROBOT Spirits line of high end mecha action figures. METAL ROBOT Spirits is a blended figure brand combining the elements of ROBOT Spirits with the Chogokin series to feature die-cast metal parts and joints.

ZGMF/A-42S2 Destiny Gundam Spec II in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom

Designed by legendary mechanical designer Kunio Okawara, ZGMF/A-42S2 Destiny Gundam Spec II is piloted by Shinn Asuka in the 2024 Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom film. The Destiny Gundam Spec II is a unit modified from the Destiny Gundam. With enhanced power, the color scheme has changed, and the cockpit has been replaced with the same panoramic monitor as the Strike Freedom Gundam Type II.

The A-GXQ754/V2 Zeus Silhouette is an equipment unit designed by mechanical designer Takuya Io.

The tagline of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom is “You are there inside me. Am I there inside you?”. The film is directed by Mitsuo Fukuda, featuring a script by Fukuda, Chiaki Morosawa, and Ryu Goto. Hisashi Hirai returns for character design, while the mechanical design team includes Kunio Okawara, Kimitoshi Yamane, Kazutaka Miyatake, Junichi Akutsu, Manabu Shintani, Zenseava, Takuya Io, and Hiroyuki Taiga. Satoshi Shigeta returns as mechanical animation director. Toshihiko Sahashi is the composer for the film’s music, and the theme song “FREEDOM” is performed by Takanori Nishikawa with Tetsuya Komuro.

Story

There are independence movements, and aggression by Blue Cosmos… In order to calm the situation, a global peace monitoring agency called COMPASS is established, with Lacus as its first president. As members of COMPASS, Kira and his comrades intervene into various regional battles. Then a newly established nation called Foundation proposes a joint operation against a Blue Cosmos stronghold.
