Hiroko Moriguchi to Release Gundam Song Covers -Orchestra- Album

Gundam songstress Hiroko Moriguchi will be releasing a new Gundam Song Covers album. From 2019 to 2022, Moriguchi released a trilogy of albums under the concept of “Gundam song covers for adults,” titled the GUNDAM SONG COVERS series.

All three albums ranked in the Top 3 of the Oricon Weekly Chart and even received the Planning Award at the Japan Record Awards.

Now in 2025, responding to the ongoing calls for an encore, this new spin-off project begins, Unlike the previous trilogy, which featured collaborations with various artists, this time the album delves even deeper into the Gundam universe through music, every track is performed in collaboration with a full orchestra, the Japan Pops Orchestra (Tacticart Orchestra).

The jacket illustration features Hiroko Moriguchi wearing Berah Ronah’s outfit, standing alongside F91 Gundam F91. As with previous entries, the artwork was newly drawn by Tsukasa Kotobuki, who has handled designs for the Gundam series.
