Zaku I Early Production Type joins the Tamashii Nations brand ROBOT SPIRITS ver. A.N.I.M.E line of high end Gundam action figures. The “ver. A.N.I.M.E.”(Action New Imagination Memory Emotion) series features dynamic anime proportions and dense sculpting, as well as a state-of-the-art articulation system that allows fans to recreate the impressive action scenes from the figures’ respective anime works.
Designed by legendary mechanical designer Kunio Okawara, this early Zaku mobile suit appeared in his 1983 Mobile Suit Variation(MSV) design series. The MS-05 is the first combat-ready mobile suit produced in limited quantities by the Principality of Zeon’s military forces. The operational data gathered from its use was fed back and contributed to the improvement of the MS-05B, which eventually led to the development of the highly regarded MS-06.
