Bandai Namco Filmworks has released the storage box and Digi jacket artwork for the volume two Blu-ray and DVD sets for Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury.
The volume two Blu-ray/DVD set will feature episodes four through six of the TV anime, “Unseen Trap”, “Reflection in an Icy Eye”, and “Gloomy Song”.
The set will include a special booklet, Asticassia School of Technology Student Newspaper, End card collection (set of 3 illustration cards from episodes 4 to 6), and audio commentary.
The storage box features an illustration of Peil Technologies ace pilot Elan Ceres, by original character designer Mogumo, while the blu-ray’s Digi jacket features an illustration of Elan’s FP/A-77 Gundam Pharact, by mechanical designer Wataru Inata.
Priced at 8,580 yen for the Blu-ray and 5,280 yen for the DVD, the Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury volume 2 will release April 26, 2023.
Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury is directed by Kiznaiver‘s Hiroshi Kobayashi, and penned by Code Geass scribe, Ichiro Ohkouchi. The tagline of the series is “This witch…rides a Gundam”. The series began broadcast October 2, 2022 on twenty-eight of MBS and TBS TV networks on their 5pm “Nichigo” anime block, as well as simulcasted internationally.
The Witch from Mercury completed its twelve episode first season in January and will resume with Season 2 in April 2023. The series is currently listed to run for a total twenty-four episodes across two seasons. From January to March, TV editions of Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash, Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt and Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative will air in its 5pm time-slot.
A teaser visual was released from Bandai Namco Filmworks(Sunrise) for the upcoming season, illustrated by character designer Mogumo and concept artist Lin Junbun.
