Gundam Lfrith Ur joins the Tamashii Nations brand ROBOT Spirits <SIDE MS> ver. A.N.I.M.E line of high end Gundam action figures. The “ver. A.N.I.M.E.”(Action New Imagination Memory Emotion) series features dynamic anime proportions and dense sculpting, as well as a state-of-the-art articulation system that allows fans to recreate the impressive action scenes from the figures’ respective anime works.
Designed by Takayuki Yanase, the EDM-GA-01 Gundam Lfrith Ur is piloted by Sophie Pulone in the Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury series. Gundam Lfrith Ur is a Gundam-type mobile suit developed based on the Gundam Lfrith Pre-production Model manufactured by the Ochs Earth Corporation prior to the Vanadis Incident. It was provided to the Dawn of Fold, an anti-Spacian organization operating on Earth.
Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury is directed by Kiznaiver‘s Hiroshi Kobayashi, and penned by Code Geass scribe, Ichiro Ohkouchi. The tagline of the series is “This witch…rides a Gundam”. The series began broadcast October 2, 2022 on twenty-eight of MBS and TBS TV networks on their 5pm “Nichigo” anime block, as well as simulcasted internationally. The Witch from Mercury completed its two season, twenty-four episode run on July 2, 2023.
