Part 1 of a special talk show was held to commemorate the premiere of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans special edition. The program is hosted by Kengo Kawanishi, Yoshimasa Hosoya, and Yuka Terasaki, the actors for Mikazuki Augus, Orga Itsuka, and Kudelia Aina Bernstein in the 2015 Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans series.
Towards the end of the show, new anime footage was shown for Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans- Urdr-Hunt, as well as announcing its first cast members. Former Nogizaka46, AKB48 idol and actress Rina Ikoma is cast as the protagonist Wistario Afam. Wistario is a boy born and raised on the Radonista Colony above Venus. His parents died when he was young, and inherited the colony management company, Afam Equipment. He is a cheerful and decisive person, and has a big dream to make Venus a tourist destination.
Kenyu Horiuchi, who played Mashymre Cello in the 1986 Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ series, will portray Demner Kitaco Jr, Wistario’s caretaker and teacher who has been secretly maintaining the Gundam Hajiroboshi.
Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway’s Gigi Andalucia actress, Reina Ueda, is cast as Korunaru Kousa, a mysterious polite girl who acts as Wistario’s guide to the “Urdr-Hunt”
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans- Urdr-Hunt was announced in 2019 by Bandai Namco Entertainment and Sunrise as a spin-off to the Iron-Blooded Orphans TV anime, featured in the mobile game Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G. Produced by Sunrise BEYOND, Urdr-Hunt takes place between seasons one and two of the Iron-Blooded Orphans series, set on the Venus colony of Radonista, following protagonist Wistario Afam piloting the mysterious Gundam Hajiroboshi. Urdr-Hunt sees most of the core staff members from the original series returning to their roles.
Urdr-Hunt’s theme song “The Over” is performed by Ryutaro Fujinaga from the band Elements Garden with vocalist kayto, a part of a new unit named Re:End.

Story
It is the year P.D. 323. Gjallarhorn’s political interference in Arbrau escalated into an armed conflict and came to an end thanks to Tekkadan.
News of Tekkadan’s exploits has also reached the ears of Wistario Afam, a young man born and raised at the Radonitsa Colony near Venus. Venus, which lost to Mars in the initial contest for colony development, is a remote planet in which the four economic blocs have little interest. It is now used as a penal colony for criminals, whose inhabitants don’t even have IDs.
