Right Stuf to Release Gundam: Twilight AXIS and others on Blu-ray in August

North American anime retailer Right Stuf has announced they will be releasing three Gundam titles for Blu-ray release in August 2023: Mobile Suit Gundam: Twilight AXIS -Remain of the Red-, Gunpla Builders Beginning G, and Mobile Suit Gundam-san.


Releasing in 2017, Mobile Suit Gundam: Twilight AXIS is an anime adaptation of Ark Performance’s and Kojiro Nakamura’s novel of the same name. The series was helmed by Se Jun Kim, who served as director, character designer, along with sharing mechanical design and animation direction duties with Shingo Abe. Takashi Ohmama composed the music for the series, who also composes for the currently airing Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury.

Twilight AXIS was produced as an ONA(Original Net Animation) streaming on Gundam FanClub and Gundam Info.

The six-episode series received a compilation film in November 2017, titled Mobile Suit Gundam: Twilight AXIS Akaki Zan’ei. RightStuf will be releasing the film as Mobile Suit Gundam: Twilight AXIS -Remain of the Red, priced at $19.99.

Gunpla Builders Beginning G Blu-ray contains episodes 1-3 of the OVA directed by Kou Matsuo, priced at $19.99.

An anime was created to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Gundam plastic models, with “Gunpla” as its main theme. The young Haru Irei has a fateful encounter with an extremely rare Gunpla, the Beginning Gundam. After building this Beginning Gundam, Haru learns about and participates in the Gunpla Battle game. As he meets Kouji and other powerful rivals, Haru grows up…


Adapting Hideki Ohwada‘s four-panel 2001 parody manga, Mobile Suit Gundam-san aired from July 2014 to September 2014 for thirteen episodes.

Directed by Mankyū, Mobile Suit Gundam-san Blu-ray is  priced at $19.99.

The easy-going and delightful manga has finally become an anime, as long awaited by all of humanity!
