Bandai Namco’s hobby business subsidiary, Bandai Spirits has announced the Premium Bandai release of the Phantom Gundam appearing in the High Grade Universal Century line of Gundam model kits.
The EMS-TC02 Phantom Gundam is piloted by Font Baud in the 2012–2016 Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam: Ghost manga series.
Crossbone: Ghost is the fourth series in the Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam saga, after Crossbone, Skull Heart and Steel 7, helmed by Yuuichi Hasegawa. Ghost takes place seventeen years after the events of Steel 7 following Font Baud, a civilian who discovers the Zanscare Empire’s trump card, the Angel Halo.
Clear effect parts are included to recreate the Phantom Gundam’s “phantom light” activation state and Flame Sword. The model kit also includes a mechanism that transforms Phantom Gundam into its “Mirage Oiseau” flight form.
