Zaku Tank “Green Macaque” joins the Tamashii Nations brand ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE MS> ver. A.N.I.M.E line of high end Gundam action figures. The “ver. A.N.I.M.E.”(Action New Imagination Memory Emotion) series features dynamic anime proportions and dense sculpting, as well as a state-of-the-art articulation system that allows fans to recreate the impressive action scenes from the figures’ respective anime works.
Designed by legendary mechanical designer Kunio Okawara, the artillery mobile suit appeared in his 1983 Mobile Suit Variation(MSV) design series. Fielded by the Principality of Zeon, the MS-06V-6 Zaku Tank “Green Macaque” was primarily used in heavy construction roles. The units used by Zeon’s Resource Mining Base Construction Battalion “Green Macaques” were equipped with particularly large manipulators for use in deforestation and swamp reclamation.
The mobile suit briefly appeared in the 2010 Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn OVA series, directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi.
The ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE MS> MS-06V-6 Zaku Tank “Green Macaque” ver. A.N.I.M.E is priced at 7,700 yen with an August 2022 release date.
