First announced October 7, Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation: Code Fairy’s 2nd volume is now available to play.
Possessing the same battle system as Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2, the story of the game consists of fifteen episodes divided into three volumes; the first volume was released November 5, volume 2 released today on November 19, and the final volume will release December 3 according to Japan Standard Time. The game can be purchased in full with standard or deluxe editions priced at 6,000 yen and 7,700 yen respectively, alternatively each volume can be purchased separately for 2,000 yen each.
Bandai Namco has also released the opening video for the game, including its main theme song “Fly high the ’Fairy’”, performed by popular anisong artist Maon Kurosaki.
Releasing to Sony Interactive Entertainment’s PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, Code Fairy tells an original story surrounding the “Noisy Fairy” – a secret unit led by pilot cadet Alma Stilner and under the direct control of Kycilia Zabi of the Principality of Zeon. During the “One Year War,” the unit struggles to break through into the continent of North America which is where the game’s story picks up. Code Fairy is said to be a tale of unbreakable bonds formed in the midst of the brutality of war.
Masayoshi Tanaka serves as character designer(Anohana, Darling in the FRANXX) for the game, with Kyoshi Takigawa on mechanical designs, and Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative’s Toshikazu Yoshizawa will be directing the project as well as animation direction and storyboards.

To coincide with Code Fairy, Bandai Namco hobby subsidiary Bandai Spirits have announced the Premium Bandai release of three new Gundam model kits of mobile suits appearing in the game: Black Rider, White Rider and Efreet Jaeger. More details of their release will be announced at a later date.
This marks the fourth installment in the game series following: Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation, Gundam: Battle Operation NEXT and the currently running Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2.
