Bandai Namco Filmworks has released the storage box and Digi jacket artwork for the Season 2 volume one Blu-ray and DVD sets for Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury.
The Season 2 volume one Blu-ray/DVD set will feature episodes thirteen through fifteen of the TV anime, “Envoys from the Earth,” “What They Wish For,” and “Father and Child”.
The Blu-ray set will include a special booklet, End card collection (set of 3 illustration cards from episodes 13 to 15), illustration card storage folder, Season 2 PVs and CMs, Creditless Opening and Ending videos for Season 2, and audio commentary featuring Kana Ichinose (the voice of Suletta Mercury), Shiori Izawa(the voice of Sophie Pulone) and Aoi Yuki(the voice of Norea Du Noc).
The DVD will include the aforementioned benefits, with the exception of the illustration cards and folder.
The Blu-ray & DVD storage box features an illustration of Dawn of Fold members Sophie Pulone and Norea Du Noc, by original character designer Mogumo, while the Blu-ray’s Digi jacket features an illustration of their respective mobile suits, EDM-GA-01 Gundam Lfrith Ur and EDM-GA-02 Gundam Lfrith Thorn, by mechanical designer Takayuki Yanase.
Priced at 8,580 yen for the Blu-ray and 5,280 yen for the DVD, the Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury Season 2 volume 1 will release September 27, 2023.
Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury is directed by Kiznaiver‘s Hiroshi Kobayashi, and penned by Code Geass scribe, Ichiro Ohkouchi. The tagline of the series is “This witch…rides a Gundam”. The series began broadcast October 2, 2022 on twenty-eight of MBS and TBS TV networks on their 5pm “Nichigo” anime block, as well as simulcasted internationally. The Witch from Mercury completed its two season, twenty-four episode run on July 2, 2023.
