First seen at the Tamashii Nation 2022 event, Guel’s Dilanza joins the Tamashii Nations brand ROBOT Spirits <SIDE MS> ver. A.N.I.M.E line of high end Gundam action figures. The “ver. A.N.I.M.E.”(Action New Imagination Memory Emotion) series features dynamic anime proportions and dense sculpting, as well as a state-of-the-art articulation system that allows fans to recreate the impressive action scenes from the figures’ respective anime works.
Designed by mechanical designer Ippei Gyoubu, the MD-0032G Guel’s Dilanza is piloted by Guel Jeturk in the 2022 Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury series. Developed by Jeturk Heavy Machinery, this is a version of the MD-0031 Dilanza tuned for Guel’s use. As well as performance enhancements, it also has a magenta color scheme and splendid decorations.
Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury is directed by Kiznaiver‘s Hiroshi Kobayashi, and penned by Code Geass scribe, Ichiro Ohkouchi. The tagline of the series is “This witch…rides a Gundam”. The series began broadcast October 2, 2022 on twenty-eight of MBS and TBS TV networks on their 5pm “Nichigo” anime block, as well as simulcasted internationally. The Witch from Mercury completed its two season, twenty-four episode run on July 2, 2023.
