Bandai Namco Announces Gundam: Extreme VS 2 OverBoost for Summer 2023 Release

Initially announced in December, Bandai Namco Amusement has released a new trailer and a roll out date for the latest entry in their popular arcade series, Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS 2 OverBoost.

Making their home to Japanese arcades in 2001, debuting with Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation vs. Zeon, the Gundam VS series has evolved into a high-speed 2-on-2 battle action game boasting massive rosters of playable mobile suits from across the vast Gundam franchise. The currently operating Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS 2 CrossBoost, will be upgraded and relaunched Summer 2023 as “OverBoost.”

One of the new playable mobile suits will be the PFF-X7/E3 Earthree Gundam, the main mobile suit piloted by protagonist Hiroto Kuga in the 2019 Gundam Build Divers Re: RISE series. The cover art of the game also teases the debut of the XVX-016 Gundam Aerial, from the currently airing Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury.
