The Gundam series began celebrating its 45th anniversary in April with the launch of the “Gundam GWX 30th Anniversary Project.” This initiative honors the Gundam franchise’s “alternative universe” series, beginning with a new Mobile Fighter G Gundam gaiden web novel. As part of the celebrations, the Mobile Suit Gundam: Silver Phantom MetaQuest VR anime film and Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance Netflix series are also releasing. Special 45th anniversary illustrations of various Gundam titles have been steadily rolling out since the anniversary’s start.

Hatsune Miku is a virtual pop star created by Crypton Future Media in 2007, using the Vocaloid software. Represented as a young girl with teal twin-tails, Miku has become a global phenomenon. Her voice, generated from sampled vocals, allows producers worldwide to create songs for her, spanning various genres. Beyond music, Miku has appeared in concerts, video games, and even collaborations with artists and brands, making her an icon in both digital culture and the wider entertainment industry.
