Gundam Info, the official international Gundam YouTube channel, is streaming the first season of Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans a part of their monthly streaming lineup.
Iron-Blooded Orphans’ twenty-five episode first season streams with both English audio and Japanese audio with fifteen subtitle options.
Directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai and scripted by Mari Okada, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans began airing October 2015. Michinori Chiba and Yu Ito designed the characters for the series, with a mechanical design team consisting of Naohiro Washio, Ippei Gyōbu, Kanetake Ebikawa, Kenji Teraoka, and Tamotsu Shinohara. Masaru Yokoyama provided the music composition for the series.
Story
Set in the Post Disaster era, the series follows a group of child soldiers—Mikazuki Augus, Orga Itsuka, and several others as they are hired to protect a young aristocrat seeking to liberate the Martian colony from Earth’s rule. When the tyrannical Earth peacekeeping force Gjallarhorn threatens those involved, Mikazuki must head into battle using a Calamity War-era relic—the Gundam Barbatos.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans- Urdr-Hunt was announced in 2019 by Bandai Namco Entertainment and Sunrise as a spin-off to the Iron-Blooded Orphans TV anime, featured in the mobile game app Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G. Produced by Sunrise BEYOND, Urdr-Hunt takes place between seasons one and two of the Iron-Blooded Orphans series, set on the Venus colony of Radonista, following protagonist Wistario Afam piloting the mysterious Gundam Hajiroboshi. Urdr-Hunt sees most of the core staff members from the original series returning to their roles.
Urdr-Hunt’s theme song “The Over” is performed by Ryutaro Fujinaga from the band Elements Garden with vocalist kayto, a part of a new band named Re:End.
Story
It is the year P.D. 323. Gjallarhorn’s political interference in Arbrau escalated into an armed conflict and came to an end thanks to Tekkadan.
News of Tekkadan’s exploits has also reached the ears of Wistario Afam, a young man born and raised at the Radonitsa Colony near Venus. Venus, which lost to Mars in the initial contest for colony development, is a remote planet in which the four economic blocs have little interest. It is now used as a penal colony for criminals, whose inhabitants don’t even have IDs.
