Demi Barding joins the Tamashii Nations brand ROBOT Spirits <SIDE MS> ver. A.N.I.M.E line of high end Gundam action figures. The “ver. A.N.I.M.E.”(Action New Imagination Memory Emotion) series features dynamic anime proportions and dense sculpting, as well as a state-of-the-art articulation system that allows fans to recreate the impressive action scenes from the figures’ respective anime works.
Designed by mechanical designer Kanetake Ebikawa, the MSJ-R122 Demi Barding is piloted by Chuatury Panlunch in the Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury series. A new concept model in the Demi series which is being planned and developed by the Burion company. While its specs disregard profitability, it retains the distinctive design and superb maintainability of the series. It can be equipped with a backpack that functions as a flight unit.
Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury is directed by Kiznaiver‘s Hiroshi Kobayashi, and penned by Code Geass scribe, Ichiro Ohkouchi. The tagline of the series is “This witch…rides a Gundam”. The series began broadcast October 2, 2022 on twenty-eight of MBS and TBS TV networks on their 5pm “Nichigo” anime block, as well as simulcasted internationally. The Witch from Mercury completed its two season, twenty-four episode run on July 2, 2023.
