Gundam songstress Hiroko Moriguchi will be releasing a Gundam song cover album titled GUNDAM SONG COVERS with Kodansha owned record label, King Records. The album will be released August 7th  in two forms; a normal edition for 3,000 yen, and a limited edition for 4,000 yen that will include a LP size double jacket, LP size booklet, an original sticker, and paper jacket CD case. The album will also feature Moriguchi performing with various guest artists. 

The CD cover and extra benefits are designed by Tsukasa Kotobuki

Hiroko Moriguchi is best known for performing the theme songs for the 1985 Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam series, “Mizu no Hoshi e Ai wo Komete” and the 1991 Mobile Suit Gundam F91 film, “Eternal Wind ~ Hohoemi wa Hikaru Kaze no Naka”. In 2018 NHK broadcast the voting results of their online poll “All Gundam Big Voting” and “Mizu no Hoshi e Ai wo Komete” ranked #1 out of  361 songs for the “Gundam Songs” category. 

Moriguchi will also be performing at the Gundam 40th Fes “LIVE-BEYOND” event, being held for two days at Makuhari Messe Event Hall in Chiba, Tokyo with performances on Saturday, September 7th at 17:00 JST, and Sunday, September 8th at 16:00 JST.
