Bandai Spirits has released product information for the Premium Bandai release of the RX-78-4 Gundam Unit 4 “G04” for High Grade Universal Century model kit line. The model was initially unveiled December 27th in the “Next Phase” Gunpla display at The Gundam Base Tokyo.
The RX-78-4 Gundam Unit 4 “G04” is considered the “4th Gundam” and initially made its debut in the Kunio Okawara Collection. The mobile suit was then redesigned by Hajime Katoki and reappeared in the PlayStation 2 video game Mobile Suit Gundam: Encounters In Space and the manga Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: Space, To the End of a Flash, piloted by Luce Cassel.
For the Gundam Unit 4 “G04” each part of its distinct form is newly molded. Its “Normal mode” and “[Bst] mode” can each be reproduced by rearranging corresponding parts.
The model kit’s main weapon, the “Mega Beam Launcher” is also new a mold and attaches with wires to the waist energy pack.
The HGUC RX-78-4 Gundam Unit 4 “G04 is priced at 2,475 yen and will release May 2020.
The model kit will include two Beam Sabers, Mega Beam Launcher, Hyper Beam Rifle, [Bst] propellant tanks, Shield, and Unit marking stickers.
