Gundam World 2019 in Hakata is an exhibition where fans can experience forty years of the Gundam world. The event features six core attractions: Chronicled Gundam History, Mobile Suit Museum, Gundam Photo Studio, Challenge! Gundam Quiz, Gundam Future Science Museum, and Gundam World Shop.
Chronicled Gundam History
Reflect upon the history of the Mobile Suit Gundam series through 1/10 scale statues and broadcast era posters. Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway’s Flash and other latest works will be introduced through panels.
Mobile Suit Museum
From Mobile Suit Gundam comes Char Aznable’s “Char Custom Zaku” life-sized head unit. Mobile suits that appear in the Gundam series are sorted by category.
Gundam Photo Studio
A photo taking corner where people can wield mobile suit weapons shrunk down to human-sizes.
Challenge! Gundam Quiz
Pilots from the history of the Gundam series will ask three video quizzes. Haro also appears in “Haro’s Gundam Primer”.
Gundam Future Science Museum
Review how far the technology portrayed in Mobile Suit Gundam has come in reality. Robotics engineers and space development experts answer questions in a panel exhibit.
Gundam World Shop
Here event limited gunpla, Gundam World original goods, and special items are sold.
The event is being held at the Fukuoka JR Kyushu Hall (JR Hakata City 9F) from March 13, 2019 to March 31, 2019 with tickets priced at 1,200 yen for adults (High school students and above) and 600 yen for children (4 years old to junior high students).
