Earlier today Bandai Spirits held a presentation and preview for their new brand, Funporter. An exhibition for Funporter is being held this weekend from February 15-17.
At the Bandai Spirits Funporter new brand presentation, Takashi Fujiwara, general manager of the company’s Hobby Products Department took the stage. Funporter was stated that its goal was to firmly deliver “the joy of making” and “the joy of discovering” as the intrinsic values of plastic models to customers from products, services, and experiences, and to promote them. The name “Funporter” expresses the desire to bring these essential values of plastic models to everyone, regardless of nationality, gender, or age.
For future development, a plan was announced to provide a space where people could feel the “the joy of making” and “the joy of discovering” in their daily life, and to provide a community where they can share the joy of making plastic models.
An exhibition for Funporter is being held this weekend from February 15-17 at Tokyo Dome City’s Gallery AaMo. The newly revealed models RG Crossbone Gundam X1 and MG Gundam NT-1 Ver. 2.0 will be displayed during the event.
