This weekend the world’s largest anime event takes place, gathering fans, companies and organizations from across the anime industry.  AnimeJapan 2019 commemorates the 6th anniversary of the event and with 6 being 六/roku in Japanese, the theme of AnimeJapan 2019 is “Rock”.

Bandai Namco Group will be attending with its “Bandai Namco Animation Airport”, a large booth designed like an airport terminal dedicated to its animated works courtesy of its divisions: Bandai Namco Arts, Sunrise, Bandai Namco Pictures, Bandai Namco  Entertainment, and Bandai Namco Rights Marketing.

Bandai Namco Animation Airport is divided into five core sections: Gundam Area, TV Area, Cinema Area, Web Area, and A-on Store Area.

Gundam Area
Gate G1:  Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN,  Mobile Suit Gundam,  Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08MS Team , Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket, Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, Mobile Suit Ζeta Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam ΖΖ, Mobile Suit Gundam Char’s Counterattack,  Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative/ Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway’s Flash, Mobile Suit Gundam F91,  Mobile Suit Victory Gundam, and  Gundam Fan Club

The area will include a video chronology and panel exhibition of the UC NexT 0100 Project and Mineva Lao Zabi flight attendant standee.  Attendees will receive  a copy of the Mobile Suit Gundam NT Mechanical Report and Gundam Fan club members will receive a clear file of Mineva Lao Zabi dressed as a flight attendant.

Attendees to Animation Airport will receive an exclusive special passport and will have them stamped with commemorative illustrations when visiting each of the areas including the 20th Anniversary Live Lantis Festival 2019 A · R · I · G · A · T · O Anisong and Bandai Spirits booths.

Anime Japan 2019 will be held at Tokyo Big Sight in Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo from March 23 – 26. The Public Days will be March 23 and 24 from 10:00-17:00 JST and the Business Days on March 25 and 26 from 10:00-19:00 JST. Bandai Namco Animation Airport will be open on the Public days located East Hall 7 booth No.M08.
